About Me

Originally from the West Coast of Canada, I’m now in Tamale, in the Northern Region of Ghana. I’m working with Engineers Without Borders on their Governance and Rural Infrastructure Team (G&RI – check out the link on the right, or jump right to our team blog). We’re working with partners in the government to try to promote evidence-based decision-making and the processes required to support that.

I’m currently placed with the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly, in the Metropolitan Planning and Coordinating Unit (MPCU). I started with them in November, 2010.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me, for whatever reason!

    Hey Dan,

I enjoyed reading your thoughts about the inevitable failure of PDP without the right structure. It’s so interesting that change on such a small personal scale can have such a large and influential effect on our lives, and that making a daily commitment to that change really is the key.

You have inspired me to embark on my own PDP excursion in a few weeks when practicum is over.

I hope all is well at your end, and I want to catch up with you when you return in the summer.

    Good thoughts indeed…
